About the Product

Sholo Gutti, also known as Bead 12 or Sixteen Soldiers, is a traditional strategy game played between two players. The game centres on the movement of playing pieces across a board, with each player making decisions to improve their position and outmanoeuvre their opponent.

Rather than relying entirely on chance, Sholo Gutti places emphasis on observation, anticipation, and tactical thinking. Players must consider how their moves affect the board, identify opportunities, and respond to their opponent's strategy. Each turn can change the possibilities available, keeping both players engaged throughout the game.

This Heritage edition brings a traditional strategy pastime into a format suited to shared play. It offers an opportunity to explore India's heritage of board games while enjoying a focused two-player challenge that encourages patience, problem-solving, and face-to-face interaction.
