Dumbbell Rattle — A Gentle First Rattle for Little Hands

The Dumbbell Rattle is a handcrafted wooden baby rattle designed to introduce babies to gentle sound, movement and early grip practice through simple sensory play. Its easy-grip dumbbell shape is simple for babies to hold, roll and explore during guided play.

Shaking the rattle helps babies connect movement with sound in a calm, screen-free way. This cause-and-effect play supports auditory awareness, hand-eye coordination, grip strength, sensory development and early motor skills.

Known in many Indian homes as a jhunjhuna or khulkhula toy, it brings traditional sound play into a simple, baby-friendly design. Handcrafted with child-safe materials and finished with a non-toxic coating, it is made for everyday sensory play under adult supervision.
